This volume concludes Mark Waid's and Chris Samnee's brilliant run on Daredevil. It is a rare thing, for a comic book run that long (especially for a supes book) to not loose any quality and momentum for the entire time. It is my favourite run on the character (with Bendis' run a close second), my first proper introduction to Matt Murdock, and the reason why Daredevil is probably my favourite superhero, not only in Marvel universe, but in general. Mark Waid (born March 21, 1962 in Hueytown, Alabama) is an American comic book writer. He is best known for his eight-year run as writer of the DC Comics' title The Flash, as well as his scripting of the limited series Kingdom Come and Superman: Birthright, and his work on Marvel Comics' Captain America.
