Amazing insights on Bertolt Brecht's dialectical mode of doing theatre performances from someone who really worked with Brecht.

Though there are some errors in the translation this is an invaluable firsthand report from a lifetime of real work with Brecht's theater. Not since Kaethe Ruelicke Weiler has such a direct experiential trace been made available
