Lovely stroll through a far more innocent time of music hall, cabaret, wireless and pantomime. Hudd seems to have led a charmed life in most respects, but there is the odd moment of honest self-reflection which highlights his faults. I would recommend the youth of today to read this, so they know how much hard work goes into building a showbiz career
