A gentle reminder of times gone by. Some nice anecdotes, Roy Hudd comes across as a nice guy.
Lovely stroll through a far more innocent time of music hall, cabaret, wireless and pantomime. Hudd seems to have led a charmed life in most respects, but there is the odd moment of honest self-reflection which highlights his faults. I would recommend the youth of today to read this, so they know how much hard work goes into building a showbiz career
I had to force myself to finish this. There were a few funny bits, but mainly it felt like I was sitting next to an old man ramble on about his life.
Easy read, loaded with names and memories from the past. A period of time encapsulated.
