This is an interesting book.
Milt Kogan is a doctor, he is an actor and he has gone to West Africa to be a force for good.
This book starts in the time from late in medical school and residency. Milt is tired both physically and emotionally and he is searching for something to take him away from the grind. He finds acting. According to Milt, the reason he chose acting was to find women. But, I think that acting also appealed to him because of his personality and the desire to shine.

This was part 2 of a multi book series. I felt as if this were a rip off-trying to get readers to buy more books by releasing them in installments. There wasn't really any "juice" in the writing either.
