Witty and funny throughout, this book had me in absolute stitches time and time again. Whether that be his antics growing up around the Derbyshire villages I worked around myself at the time of reading or the pranks he played in and out the paddock on and with his peers this book was like no other autobiography I had read at the time!

A Brilliant Book and loved every minute of it.
Witty and funny throughout, this book had me in absolute stitches time and time again. Whether that be his antics growing up around the Derbyshire villages I worked around myself at the time of reading or the pranks he played in and out the paddock on and with his peers this book was like no other autobiography I had read at the time!
When Chris wrote this book he was wrapping up what had been a great career, one of under dog, giant killing performances and could have been championships and in particular his nemesis Neil Hodgson. It was extremely easy to warm to Walker during the book.
Laugh out loud funny, his constant phone calls and stalking of James Whitham and night out in Czech Republic.... maybe its time I picked this book up again.
What amazes me most is that Chris wrote this in the twilight of his career and I turn on the TV to watch the Brit Superbikes at Brands in 2014 and who's leading.... Only Bloody Chris Walker!! A plucky lad and a great read.
Highly recommended! I cite this as the book that made me like reading again!

Enjoyed this book nice easy to read passed some commute time!
I've seen him race a couple of times but he wasn't my favourite rider however he has gone up in my estimations if just how much effort he put into each and every race!
Some of the stunts and antics he gets up to had me in stitches and reminded me of my younger days as did his witty 1 liners! If you like your bikes then read it!
