Robert Hays
My name is in this book because I was Paul's primary campaign manager in his first run for congress. As I've written elsewhere, I'm not really objective when it comes to Sen. Simon in any case. I am very happy he wrote this biography and it is an interesting read. Unfortunately, Paul's total lack of ego comes through, in that he approached this book almost like a second person narrator. It is a good and fair chronology of his political career, but doesn't show enough of his philosophy.
