This past summer, while perusing an antique shop in Lancaster, PA, I found a book titled, "An Autobiography of Abraham Lincoln," compiled and annotated by Nathaniel Wright Stephenson. It's popularly believed that Lincoln did not keep a diary, so much autobiographical information is attained through enumerable letters, speeches, and telegrams.
