I had never heard of Sarah Miles when I picked this book up. After Googling her, I found that she was an actress who starred in my mother's favourite film, Ryan's Daughter. An interesting book about a girl who was so different from everyone else in her family, which really spoke to me as I feel the same way.
I really enjoyed this book I'm always happy to read about people who stumble through life as confused and muddled and me. It makes me feel a little less alone. I liked her views on sex and mastrabation.
She certainly was a pioneer of sorts and I admire her bravery. I hope to find her other book.
