Everybody is A.Somebody! It is not only celebrities who have interesting lives. This autobiography takes the reader on a journey through an ordinary young man’s life who feels he never quite fits society’s blueprint. Later as a happily married and successful individual, he still feels something is missing. He knows if life is to be fulfilling he will have to follow a different path. With the words “monotony is the only reward of the cautious” ringing in his ears he decides to step off the treadmill and leave the grey skies of London behind for a new life in the South of France. His journey is full of frustrations, even danger, but also hilarious episodes, exciting challenges and ultimately an enriched and more rewarding life. This is an autobiography with a twist that adds an element of fun and discovery for the reader.

I was unsure about this book as I prefer to know who I'm reading about, or so I thought but after a few pages I was hooked. This was a truly inspirational read, humorous in places and I enjoyed it right to the end. Would recommend this to anyone looking to make a few changes in their lives but never thought they'd be able to.
I loved this book. I felt like I was reading about a close friend. His writing style was fun and fast to read. The spray tan and sewer blockage tales are just like something my brother-in-law would put in a Christmas letter. Thanks for such an entertaining book. I received a copy from Goodreads First Reads.
I thought it as a humorous piece of work, as well as slightly inspiring. But then again, I'm in my youth and not plagued by such matters as this somebody was. I don't need to rethink my future several times, I'm not even done with my education!
But it was thought-provoking, a quick read, which made it enjoyable, but as my age (and usually not a fan of autobiographies) - not entirely captivatingly death-grip exciting. It might just be me not appreciating it....
