A very interesting read from both a historical perspective but also for the person that has an eye toward improving themselves.

It's interesting to see the humble beginnings of such a highly regarded national figure...unfortunately, he spends way too much time talking about his printing business and almost no time on anything else. Then the use of words like hither, thither, and henceforth start to become distracting. I'm glad I read it, but I can't say I'd recommend it to a friend.

Uh-yeah-speaks to us if you want to be bored to tears-this was soo tedius. Benjamin Franklin comes off as a cocky know-it-all and more than a little OCD/perfectionist. I got like 70% of the way through it and then couldn't talke it anymore-it sounds like some stranger rambling on about their day, rather than imparting any wisdom. Could have been abridged big time.

Wow, I tried to listen to this as an audio book. I made it about 7 minutes. It was horrible--all about "poor richard says save a penny save a pound" or all kinds of silly cliches. It is silly. I had expected essays on wealth, the nature of work, and the like. I was sadly disappointed. Perhaps the autobiography will be better...

Have to recommend this ! I especially enjoyed Wealth and Wisdom. Very fun and practical advice given in a classic B. Franklin way, his humor strewn throughout.
