I will review this work in my weekly feature, Plains Folk . I don't know how broad its appeal is, but if you're at all familiar with the wonderful landscape and tragic history of the Osage country, then this work is compelling. Add to this the contribution to literary history, sketching in the early life of an under-appreciated author. I read the book hungrily.
