Today, we made treasure maps and wrote stories about cats searching for treasure, little girls rescuing princesses, bad guys and goblins chasing us, and children riding rainbows. This is a great book for teaching children how to write. It is chock full of prompts, lessons, practical advice, and great information to get kids writing. My kids loved it.
Loved this book! Great, fun, writing activities and crafts that help kids visualize their stories! I didn't use all of it in my writer's workshop adventure class last year, but I definitely used some of these great ideas!
