Growing up in Bed Sty, a rough Brooklyn neighbourhood, Bobby's mother, Hope, scrimps and saves so her two children can have music and dance lessons. From these humble beginnings a great dancer is born, but there was a lot of hard work along the way. I love the way Mr. Maiorano describes his life, the lessons and remembrances of the great George Balanchine . I can almost smell the sweat and feel the excitement in the studio as he brings those vivid days alive.
