This volume concludes Mark Waid's and Chris Samnee's brilliant run on Daredevil. It is a rare thing, for a comic book run that long (especially for a supes book) to not loose any quality and momentum for the entire time. It is my favourite run on the character (with Bendis' run a close second), my first proper introduction to Matt Murdock, and the reason why Daredevil is probably my favourite superhero, not only in Marvel universe, but in general. Yes, I believe this guy is way cooler than all your Batmen, Supermen, Iron Men and Spider-Men. And it is thanks to these 11 volumes.
So thank you, Mark Waid, thank you, Chris Samnee, thank you to all the people who made this book a reality and one of the best superhero comics ever. It really changed my perspective on the whole genre and made me a Matt Murdock (and Foggy Nelson) fan for life.
