Although not a great enthusiast of autobiographies, I enjoyed this one. It helped that I have always lived in Glasgow and that I enjoyed the Taggart series.

Alex Norton told his life story with humour, in an honest and forthright way, not being scared to reveal both his successes and failures and his opinions of people.

A really engaging read. Norton talks like a true Weegie telling stories to a pal. As a Glesca girl living in England, the Scots patter really made me feel at home. His tales of life as a jobbing actor are laugh-out-loud funny and there's never a dull moment.
