Sometimes life hands us something we never expected, I found this book an emotional ride with humor and heartwarming moments as the author pulled no punches in telling his story. It is hard for anyone to imagine what it is like to be in his predicament. All he did was dive into a pool and his life was changed forever. For me it was interesting to read the story told by someone who is still in his wheelchair, I have read other stories of fantastic recoveries and that is wonderful and I am happy f

For me it was interesting to read the story told by someone who is still in his wheelchair, I have read other stories of fantastic recoveries and that is wonderful and I am happy for them, but what about the thousands of others who can't do that and through no fault of their own.. Sometimes what you are handed is what you have to live with and no amount of therapy r surgery is going to fix that. For me this is the story of someone who had to accept what happened and find ways to cope and go on. That's what makes this story more compelling to me.
