Oh my god, I'm so ashamed that I read this! So ashamed in fact that if I was a real monkey I'd probably be trying to hide my face under my tail right about now. In my defence I read this when I was working abroad for a long time and I'd run out of reading material. This was the only thing left on the dig-house book shelf aside from the Harry Potter series and week old copies of Hurriyet and Sabah (local newspapers).

I chose to read this.... and that my friends will tell you all you will ever need

'...a corny phantasm of man-pleasing artifice...' (Martin Amis)

I've always wondered why British pop culture so much more frankly trashy than American, and I found my question answered when I came acorss this in the Erotica annex of a photography section. I think it's because Britain is smaller, and average-faced, orange-tanned, fake-boobed pinups get more exposure, and take up more space (and record albums and go on TV and amass media fortunes). In America there are so many castes and tiers stan

“So who am I?”

It’s a tricky one, I must admit. Who exactly is this woman? This media phenomenon. Well, my first thought to Katie is that I hope she does know or this book of yours is going to be fairly dull. Oh, that’s right. You didn’t write it, did you? Rebecca Farnworth did. In fact, she has written all of her tome

Written before her career took off (if you can call it that, before spectacularly crashing and burning), this isn't actually that bad (and credit to John Blake - he uses money from these sales to fund smaller works that might not otherwise find a market). Taking her my childhood up to the birth of her first child, it's the story of a withdrawn, sad and lonely little girl who grew up to be a sad and lonely young woman who hid herself behind the sexual sheen of a pumped-up Page 3 girl. Looking at ...more

I'm a big Jordan fan. And I became such a big fan after reading this book. I think she's very honest. She doesn't gloss over the bad things in her life, like some celebrities do. She lets people see both sides of her which makes for a very entertaining read. She's been in some shocking shitty relationships. I'm not saying she was innocent all the time. I think she's a bit of a cock tease which has led to her somewhat unfair portrayal as a man eating slut. I liked her catty remarks about Posh Spi ...more

If you've ever read a tabloid newspaper or a men's magazine, you'll have heard of Jordan. In more recent times, you don't even need to have done this to have heard of her, thanks to her attempts to represent the UK in 2005's Eurovision Song Contest and her appearance in the 2004 series of ITV's "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!"

Born Katie Infield in Brighton, Jordan's problems with men started when she was three years old and her father, who hadn't really been around much, left for good. Her

This is the BEST trash ever! My cousins in the UK sent in to me. It defintely made me a little dumber but it was worth it.

I think I must have read a different book to everyone else as I was not impressed with this book at all!

I've never been 'for' or 'against' Jordan, but whilst this book definitely makes her appear more human (especially the bits about Harvey) and you can genuinely feel for her being in the position of single mum to a child with such difficulties, the rest of it was mainly a list of her sexual or near-sexual encounters. It would have been interesting to learn more about her life before she was fa

I'm a big fan of katie price but prefer to read her fictional books; angel, angel uncovered, crystal, sapphire, paradise, santa baby, in the name of love, etc.
she does follow me on twitter which is amazing and she is a fantastic mother and an amazing business woman.
i've never really considered myself an avid reader of autobiographies, i do enjoy some but tend to stray away from them.
i have read one other biography from miss price and it was more of an impulse buy because it sounded more genuine

Again another book written in basic English. I love autobiographies though and would read more or less anyone's!

I felt Katie was honest and upfront in this book and was surprised by some of the things she had been through.

Worth a read even if your not a massive fan of hers!

I only read this because my sister-in-law was reading and said it was really good and you get to know her more, meaning she's not like what the press say.

To be honest I didn't really think that much of it.

As much as I dislike this woman, I remember reading this when I was much younger and really enjoying the insight into her life. Good biography, horrible woman.

I was intrigued to read Katie Price's biographies after watching her reality show. I found that this was a good read and very well written. Highly recommend.

Excellent book about the life and childhood of Katie Price.

Surprisingly a good read. I'm not a fan of Jordan at all but read the book to see who she dished the dirt on and she did just that! A few people felt her wrath including Gareth Gates for denying that he had a fling with her.It was interesting to read about her early career and decision to go for the breast enlargements which certainly did launch her career. She also talks about her delight in finding Peter Andre which is a bit sad now that she has turned into a witch since their split!I like cel ...more

I read this when a friend recommended it and subsequently leant me the book. I have to say this changed my view on Jordan. It gives a good insight into her life thus far and why she's done the things she's done. You can say what you like about her, but she proves in this book that she's a good businesswoman, and has an incredible drive to succeed. What also comes across in this book, is how much she adores her son Harvey. I really enjoyed reading this, although I haven't been tempted to pick up ...more

I read this book after Katie Price was in the jungle and I thought that maybe she was misunderstood. I read it fairly quickly - not exactly rocket science material! It is a very open account of Katie's early life and it brought things to light that perhaps explain a few things. I did not go on to read any more of her books however as the more her private life was paraded shamelessly in the press by herself I lost interest. A woman who bases her life on her greed for media attention it would seem ...more

I read this a few years ago now and at the time I quite enjoyed it- but found her very dislikeable.
I do not like Jordan. I think she's a good mum and an amazing businesswoman (perhaps I'm a little jealous of the millions she has in the bank) but I find her brash, blunt to the point of being rude, and money-grabbing. Selling your kids to OK magazine week in week out is shameful, in my opinion.
However, back to the book. A fairly interesting read, but nothing jaw-dropping. She seemed very honest.

im not a fan of jordan I dont have any interest in her, but I found almost every chapter in this book about men...or whatever man she was seeing at the time!! which made me think can this woman function without a man? can she ever just be happy with who she is on her own?? obviously not.....poor thing, more to be pitied than talked about!!! by the way, I read this book because my sis brought it on hols and for wk 2 I had nothing to read......have ereader this year :D:D

Although I love Katie Price, I must say I was a little confused. It's either she doesn't know herself or someone else wrote it for her. Some things just didn't ring true and I feel a book like this needs to be completely honest. Still love Katie, will read her other books

Sped read through this book in a few hours and swallowed it whole. I really enjoyed reading all about the adventures of Katie Price and appreciate her honest "tell it how it is" style.

Yes it's a whole lot of kiss n tells but it's absolutely fascinating.

I didn't have the edition with the Peter Andre romance and wedding update sadly - but there were still more than enough love affairs and flings to keep me happy.

Born as Katie Infield in Brighton, East Sussex, England on May 22 1978, I changed my last name to Price when my mother Amy remarried. I have an older brother, Daniel, and a younger sister, Sophie.

Although I had many interests when I was younger, a friend suggested that I should pursue a modeling career. So I sent a few shots to an agency and was taken on. I attended loads of castings, had my fair
