Blocked Thoughts is a collection of poems that detail events in poetic fashion according to the author's life. Blocked Thoughts is a journey into the mind and heart of Derrick 'D Block' Dixon as he is growing from a boy to a man and overcoming the obstacles in his way with faith, trust and belief in GOD.

Derrick 'D Block' Dixon is a native of the south side of Prince George's County, MD (Temple Hills). He has been writing poetry since the age of 12 and has written and published three other books (The Love/Hate Chronicles, Vol. 1 + 2 and The PSA: Poetic Stories of Affliction). D Block writes about events in his life based on experiences he has encountered and overcome through faith and wisdom and a strong belief in GOD.
