'I'd been drinking with these plain-clothes coppers from Kings Cross. When I got home I felt peckish and hopped on my bike to get a Chinese. One of the coppers I'd just been with saw me wobbling and f***ing nicked me. In the Evening Standard the next day it said not only that I was done for drink-driving, but apparently I was at the head of a gang of 40 mods rampaging through King's Cross on our scooters.
