This book is an autobiography by Ollie Barney. He tape-recorded the most memorable of his collection of stories about the people and events that shaped his life. The tapes were transcribed over a several-year period. The stories describe growing up on a ranch, serving nearly five years in the U.S. Army in the WWII Pacific Theater of Operations (including three years of combat), family and friends, construction work, but mainly his hunting and guiding adventures. His hunting has taken him all over the world and provided some life-long friends.
